Okay, here’s an example of what was happening on the community server installation, which was one of the reasons I was switching to wordpress software. There are spam blocking capabilities in community server, but these spammers tend to find ways around a lot of roadblocks. Well, my software e-mails me EVERY time someone posts a comment on my website, and when the spammers start hitting, expect lots of e-mails.
The actual posts were getting blocked from showing up on the blog comments, but the influx of e-mails asking me to approve or deny was just a bit too much. Here’s a screenshot of what I’m talking about. This is my outlook inbox showing those messages. If you look at the date and times, you can see that this crap happens quite often.
Well, I noticed that the spammers have created test posts on my new installation. So let it be known, bitches, that I’ve enabled the anti-spam for the comments in this software. This crap won’t be happening again
I hope the fleas of a thousand camels infest the crotches of these damn spammers. And may their arms be too short to scratch.
