First of all, thanks for stopping by my little humble abode in this corner of the Internet. Okay, so where do I begin?  I guess I’ll start off with a few facts about myself, what I do, and why this page is here.  But first, the stats!

Other than the information above, I’m just your typical individual, who just like everyone else, has a desire to express myself when it comes to creativity, random thoughts, wisdom, etc…   I enjoy socializing, cooking, photography, reading, gaming, and various sports.  And on top of that, I got quite a bit of geek in me.  I’m a software analyst in the pharmaceutical industry, but that’s all the information you’ll get concerning what I do for a living.  Jobs tend to get a bit antsy when their employees keep blogs on the net, so it’s best to leave the place of employment out of it.  Learned that from the jackass management at Jack Henry who’d rather sick a fat lawyer on you than speak to you in person about things.

So why is this site here?  Well, to sum it up in one word, that would be “Expression”.  Before the Internet even took off, I’ve always had a fascination with the online world.  For all of you geek’s, I’m talking way back in the lynx browser days.  Dialing up through BBS’s, and rejoicing when I got my hands on the Mozilla browser. Yes, that’s right, a true, bonified old skool geek.  But back to the present.  I’ve always felt that whether somebody is listening or not, we all have the need and the desire to express our thoughts, feelings, and to really vent about the things that just piss us off.   And that’s why blogging is so popular.  If you don’t have one, I suggest trying it.

When I’m not stuck behind a desk, I can often be found somewhere doing photography.  Although I don’t do it as much as I normally do, I still have a love and a deep desire to do it.  Really, it’s just another form of expression.   Feel free to check out my photography site at http://www.kingphotosonline.com whenever you get bored.  I’m constantly adding galleries as the months go by.
